Founded in February 2021 in Udalguri, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam, India. We drive meaningful and sustainable development in underrepresented areas, empowering local communities while preserving their cultural and environmental heritage. The organization is registered under the Registration Act 1908.

Dipankar Bayan
Director
Dipankar Bayan is a development professional and social development expert based in Udalguri, Assam, India. He currently serves as the Director of The HAIF.
With a strong background in project management, performance management, and creative problem-solving, his career centers on creating sustainable change in underserved regions. His core expertise lies in executing healthcare, livelihood, and community development initiatives across the Northeast, having previously managed major grassroots projects like the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) program for The Hans Foundation and livelihood innovation for the Bodoland Development Foundation.
